Just wanted to share that our Zeus, well everyone' (who new the bear), past today.January 2nd, 2008. We have long tried hard to maintain his health, but at 11 years old (77 in dog years) his body couldn't fight anymore. He did spend the holidays close to us near the fireplace doing what he loved, Sleeping, Snoring and Farting. Lost count of the many times he would be yelled at to quiet him down during his ear shattering snores or running quickly to get the air freshener before someones arm fell off from fanning the room. He never asked for much except the usual like water and food, but did always need to be next to someone or in the same room. Loved to be belly rubbed (thanks Donna) and to play tug-a-war by pulling on his fags with your finger (Thanks Mike).
REST IN PEACE!
YOUR LIFE TO BE GENTLE, EAGER, AFFECTIONATE, LOVE CHILDREN, BE CALM AND SELF ASSURED, AND BEING A WONDERFUL FAMILY MEMBER HAS BEEN FULL FILLED.
THANKS FOR THE HAPPY MEMORIES!

Zeus was a great dog! A large bear of a mastiff, but you couldn't ask for a more gentle one. He will be missed.

It was a real pleasure and, indeed, a joy to have had Zeus in our lives. Mastiffs are just wonderful beasts, and Zeus was among the best. Rafe and Lisa Knox
